Privacy policy

1. Controller

Ayoub Boubakri (09clicks), Regensburg, Germany · kontakt@09clicks.de. Full details are in the legal notice.

2. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit the site, Vercel processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, requested page and time of access to deliver the site and keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Data may be transferred to the USA; Vercel relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Price data is stored in a database operated by Neon Inc. that contains no personal data about visitors.

3. Cookies

We do not use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. We only set one functional cookie called “market” that remembers the region and currency you selected (valid for one year). It is strictly necessary to provide the feature you requested (§ 25(2) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). To pre-select a region on your first visit we use the country derived from your IP address by our hosting provider; it is not stored.

4. Game images from store servers

Game covers and screenshots are loaded directly from the servers of the respective stores (e.g. Valve/Steam, GOG, Epic Games). Your browser therefore connects to these servers and transmits your IP address. This is necessary to display the images (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Links to stores and affiliate links

When you click a link to a store, you leave our website and the store's privacy policy applies. Some links are affiliate links (marked as “Ad”); the store or affiliate network may then set its own cookies to attribute a purchase to us. We do not receive any personal data about you from this, only anonymous commission reports.

6. Contact

If you email us, we process your message and email address to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete it once it is no longer needed.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA).
