About Idle Hoops
Idle Hoops is an incremental idle basketball game. It starts with one kid, one hoop and a driveway. Where it ends is up to you, but it does involve a stadium in space and a goat in a crown. You shoot. Your team shoots. Everyone scores, even while the game is closed. It's an idle game you can actually play, with a timing meter that rewards a steady hand and a roster that keeps getting stranger the further you go. Every shot runs on a timing meter. Let go in the green for a perfect swish worth double, then keep it going. Each make in a row adds to your streak multiplier, and miss and it's back to zero. Hold the button down and you'll keep shooting, if you trust your rhythm. Sign teammates who score for you around the clock. It starts with the neighbour kid and a pickup baller who calls his own fouls. Later you'll be paying a mascot, a robot calibrated to 100% free throws, an alien who grew up in low gravity and, eventually, the actual GOAT. Fourteen of them in total, each with a long ladder of upgrades. Hit ten in a row and you're on fire: every shot is worth triple until you cool off. Golden balls float onto the court every so often. Catch one for a points frenzy, a lucky windfall, a hot hand, or a full ball rain where every ball that drops pays out. When a season's gone as far as it can, win the championship. You start over in the driveway, but you keep your rings, and every ring makes the next season faster. Spend them on perks like shooting automatically, keeping more of your offline earnings, or starting each season with a bench already full. Eventually even rings stop being enough. That's when the Hall of Fame opens. Retire your jersey number and it hangs from the rafters of every court for the rest of the game. In return you get Banners, which boost everything for good and pay for the Front Office: an Auto-Scout that signs players, an Assistant Coach who buys your upgrades, and a Dynasty Planner who wins titles for you when the timing's right. Then you pick a new number and do it all again, faster. 7 courts, from the driveway to the Hall of Fame Arena A wide variety of teammates, and upgrades for every one of them Your own player: pick a number, skin tone, hairstyle, accessories and shoes in the Locker Room Progress while you're away Full controller support, plus mouse and keyboard 29 languages No ads, no energy timers, no micro-transactionsRead more
