About Prehistoric Pit
PrehistoricPit is a bullet heaven roguelite in a colorful voxel style. You play a dinosaur, the pit fills with Ice Age mammals, and your weapons fire on their own. You steer, dodge, and pick upgrades. A full run lasts about 30 minutes and ends with a meteor. Every weapon and every fossil you pick stays with you until the run ends. There is no swapping and no selling back. Your third and fourth slots are not even open at the start; you earn them by surviving and killing enough in a single run. So a run is 25 weapons and 23 fossils competing for four plus four places. Armor or speed. Crit or coverage. A weapon that scales off reach or one that scales off raw damage. You will never fit everything into one build, which is why no two runs feel alike. Seven of the weapons scale off stats nobody normally builds for offense: Amber Shards grow with Thorns, Slipstream with movement speed, Aegis Slam with armor, Sanguine Vine with max HP. A tank build and a glass cannon build can both deal damage, just not with the same weapons. Take a weapon to level 30, find the relic that belongs to it, and it evolves. Laser Eyes become the Pineal Eye, a floating third eye that hunts targets for you. A fireball becomes Phoenix Bloom. A bone volley becomes the Gravewaker. A plain bite becomes the Tyrant's Maw. All 25 weapons have an evolution, and the evolution keeps everything the base weapon had earned along the way. You still only have four places to put them. T-Rex, Triceratops, Velociraptor, Ankylosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Carnotaurus, Pachycephalosaurus, Pteranodon and Stegosaurus. Each one has a starting weapon no other dinosaur can ever pick up, plus its own active ability and passive. The Ankylosaurus stands in the middle of the crowd and lets everything break against it. The Pteranodon is never where the enemies are. The Stegosaurus turns every spike into a bleed that scales with its Thorns. Only the T-Rex is available at the start. The other eight are unlocked by doing things in a run: survive five minutes for the Triceratops, deal a billion damage in one run for the Pteranodon. Then wolves, hyaenodons, oviraptors, entelodonts and woolly rhinos pour in, in waves that get denser every minute. A woolly mammoth shows up as a miniboss and treats you as a snack.
