Pull a net-negative figure out of the timeline and the simulated world heals; remove a pillar and it crumbles. HISTORY THAT PUSHES BACK The people you meet are real — Caesar, Cleopatra, Cicero, Socrates, Pericles — tangled in a living web of cause and effect. Remove Crassus and Caesar's rise falters. Remove Cicero and the Renaissance loses a voice. There are no heroes and villains, only trade-offs — and over-correcting the past costs as much as leaving it alone.
